Printing proofing of color boxes: Through CDR files, a printing plate with the color of the printed content CMYK is produced, and the color is adjusted by a four-color printing press. (Proofing takes a long time, usually about 3-5 days)
The color ratio of digital printers is 8 colors, and the bulk of color boxes are printed by four-color printing presses. The colors of the printing press are all mixed with 4-color inks, so the color deviation between the digital printer and the actual four-color printing press is large.
For color boxes with full bottom printing, the effect of digital printer proofing is more gorgeous. In actual production, the color will not be accurate, and the color deviation from the proofing will be large. The color draft of digital proofing is not accurate with the printing of the printing machine. Generally, the color box with digital proofing is used to confirm the printing content.
Compared with the cost of machine proofing, the cost of digital proofing of color boxes will be more cost-saving. The machine proofing of color boxes is almost the same as making large quantities, but the quantity is smaller, so why the printing machine has a startup fee is this cost.
